Q. I heard this website is banned on the Internet - is this true?
A. Yes - effectively, but no - not formally. In almost a decade there has never been a formal complaint about this website. However, if you have a car; and gas stations will not let you BUY gas, and you can not park, and you can not get insurance, and you can not get a license plate - that is like being banned from driving. A. We have been banned by networks and/or search engines and/or suppliers because...

- we (SexEducation.com) banned and named the top three countries which distribute child pornography - and we got banned for doing that. Several searches engines banned us because we were "openly against groups of people."

- Adult XXX websites started banning us because of acceptable use policies (AUP) which include "no pictures of minors - no exception." [It's more probable because of our directly accessed domain policy.] The graphic of the minor, which we posted on our homepage - was the cover of TIME magazine and it was a Mother & Daughter with AIDS. The focus of discussion at that time was AIDS and the orphaning of millions of children in Africa.

- We have been banned by advertisers for refusing to remove the banned South African rape television commercials and for clips of rare rape documentaries shown on prime time television. Yes - banned for content shown on public television.

- We have been banned for content posted by visitors on the msgBoard.

- We have been banned by indexes for using words like "children" or "preteen" on our homepage. The sentence which caused several bans was - "This website is not intended for preteens or children." Notice - that the words "preteens" and "children" are no longer on the homepage and appear only on the second page as you enter.

- we have been banned for blasting Doctors and "professionals" for lying on their websites and for publishing the names and website locations of these liars.

- we have been banned for an article about a VERY COMMON - massively distributed pornographic video - that when analyzed - frame by frame - appears to be rape. Audition rape a new classification of rape being ignored by legislators.

- we have been banned for using what we call "punchy" words to deliver hard lessons - like "faggot".

- we have been banned for being too risky by allowing Parents (adults) to decide what Teenagers (minors) can see or not see here. Basically, allowing adults to show minors restricted content.
