When a site is sold, there's a right way and a wrong way to handle things if you have advertisers, link buyers, and others who have purchased a service.
Anytime we have sold a site that had links on it, we first made arrangements, in writing, that all links be honored. To further be proactive and protective of our client's interests, we contacted all those who had purchased links and disclosed the details -- and offered a full refund, for any clients that were uncomfortable with the new owners.
When you offer a service, be it for 10 dollars or 10 million dollars, you have an obligation to your clients. It's really that simple.
There are many professionals on GFY offering various levels of service, from link buyers, to ad buys to traffic buys, whom I bet feel the same way -- which is why they are still in business, as we are, after all these years. Customer service is very important.
