Paysites will turn to webcams/sex toys
I suspect that over the next few years many websites will opt to do webcams/sex toys.
The content (as in vids and pics) will simply become a bonus to the mebers.
Why?
Many will by now simply take it as red that whatever you do, your content will be pirated. Ok, a site may get sued or/shut. But so what. The affect is like moving a gran of sand from a beach.
But webcams and toys cannot be pirated.
As models get less work, its logical for them to webcam. Plus they can work as much as they want.
Affiliates will also IO suspect prefer to get a percentage of cam rather than a 5 of membership simply as long term there should be more money, and converstions will be much higher.
Of course while the big sites can afford custom systems for cam work, idealy ccbill will set up a payment system to allow webcam, not just selling membership. The ideal situation is ccbill would set up a payment system so that a solo model could set up a 2nhd solo website of her on cam rather than her having to add herself to an over populated web cam site. Thus she could charge per min as well as for her membership. Of couse some may opt to cam free to there members. But a ccbill token system could mean she could do free shows but get paid via tokens.
Sex toys are also good as they cannot be pirated. The down side is that there are so many sex toy sites.
One final option is for sites to no longer uploading content to the web. Keep all the content they have online but produce a dvd or blur ray film each month and post these to members. This would encurage members to stay members longer.
