This is pretty much my view of it as well. I'm conservative about some things and liberal about others but I'm damn sure not hard core liberal or hard core conservative. I just find it disgusting that the right wing of this country has pushed so far to the extreme that IMO they are a borderline hate group at the fringes.
I typically find I side more with the democrats and I'll support Obama because I feel he's done a good enough job for what he's had to deal with. Meanwhile all the right does is attack & try to divide then blame the left so you pretty much always have to defend the left because 9 out of 10 times the right is just irrational and delusional.
At this point I just love to stir the shit with them and poke stick at the blow hard righties because they are so fucking predictable.
Honestly though I just wish 'reason and intelligence' would replace 'dumb & dumber' as the mainstay of of the GOP line of thinking.
