But one thing to remember. Living a true democracy means that for about half the time, you are going to disagree with what is going on in the country. All the tough issues will be about split down the middle. Expecting to be happy with every single thing the government does means you live in a dictatorship and YOU are the dictator. That's the only way you will be happy 100% of the time.
A democracy means that you are going to get pissed off at about half the shit that goes on. THAT IS TOTALLY NORMAL. It doesn't mean the country is being ruined or the whole system is broken.

Agreeing 100% with what you are saying here (does that make me a dictator). Hyper partisanship is destroying the two party system and with all the moderates on both sides getting voted out I'm not really sure how things will work in the future
