The two party system is EVERYTHING wrong in my opinion. And I'm not talking about campaigning. I'm talking about governing.
They both answer to the same masters. Both parties have career, lifetime politicians filled in Congress and The Senate and they are ALL crooks.
Even your beloved liberals.
I think that they all need to be voted out. None of them are for freedom. And all of them are for lining their own pockets.

Not sure how you saw that? I implicitly stated both sides are doing it. I also implicitly stated that although I feel the Republicans started and perfected it first, the Democrats are doing it now as well. So tell me again how I was being partisan?
If the two party system doesn't work, how did America become the only super power? It seemed to work for several hundred years. But suddenly in the last few years you have determined that it is totally broken and a new system must be invented? Maybe you should stop and think what has changed recently to make you think a system that worked fine in the past is now not working.
Also, do you realize that third party candidates pander as well. They give out vague policies about "freedom" then people like you who are fed up with the system simply project your own thoughts and ideas to fill in the details. Guys like Johnson and Ron Paul pander just like Democrats and Republicans, they just use a slightly more intelligent approach. But it's still just pandering. You may very well be right, but those guys are just pandering to you.
Democrats pander to liberals who think they are smarter than everyone else and think everyone else is an ignorant, hate filled redneck.
The Republicans pander to people who think everyone else is lazy and getting handouts, and they are the only ones who actually work hard.
Third party candidates pander to those who are sick of both parties and just want to scrap the whole system.
Sorry, you are being pandered to.
People have to stop and think. If 300 million Americans are about evenly divided on Democratic and Republican policies, that probably means there are valid points on BOTH SIDES. An intelligent person would realize a combination of both approaches would probably be the best answer.
