For what its worth it seems to me that in UK, typically the authorities really dig deep and if they find stuff, they dont hide it.
I recall a few years ago where a woman (mother) had filed claim against PM Blair that he had put her son in harms way for illegal purposes. The complaint made it very high in the system, Blair was actually investigated.
I look forward to seeing the responsible people investigated in this case.
