It's the main rule of evolution, the ones who are not ready to adapt are doomed and will disappear... right now let's try to see the tubes as a new way to promote and try to work around it. I guess the same could be said for file lockers. I personally don’t see a difference between the two when content owners don’t upload their own content.
I’m still trying to wrap my brain around why someone would want to join a site when they can get it for free. If I needed to go to the jack room and back off, there’s plenty of free current content out there for my 15 minutes of fame. Hell, the content is out there as soon as it's released, so no new updates on your site, no need to join.
I can adapt to that.
