It isn't about porn -- it is a twisted sense of righteousness that comes from being able to sling buzz words around. They are targeting a largely legal business that does bring in a good amount of tax dollars, has a lot of employees in many different facets and doesn't destroy the environment. Most of us here follow the 2257 regulations. Don't target fraud, or the lavish waste of taxpayer dollars... target a legit industry. Now, you know that internet-thing is responsible for all the porn, and the cable tv industry. Those will also both have to be severely regulated to control the evil porn. What's next? Taxation for not going to church on Sunday?
This is the very first time in over 30 years that I am going to miss a presidential election - only because I won't be in the states in time to vote and I missed the deadline to vote absentee. Do I miss the circus? Not for a moment. Sad that it has again turned to slinging mud instead of putting people back to work. I am still very glad to be an ex-pat.
