I remember in 87 standing by Boot Hill checking out a customized Sportster with my friend that rode out with me. You have to understand that it was raining when we left LA and we hit rain every fucking day on the way out and it rained off an on the whole week in Daytona.
The owner of the bike came out and informed us that he had trailered his bike the entire 150 miles from St Pete and that he had never washed his bike with water. He then proceeded to push the bike around the corner to his waiting trailer. We
over that one.
I can't imagine how bad it must be now; Daytona is crowded enough without a bunch of trailers and RV's.
