Also, I know you say in a defense scenario it's OK, my post is mostly for people who will read this who are anti gun 100%.
Let me ask you this though. If you had an 8 year old daughter, and she was kidnapped, held for a period of time, say 5 months, tortured by her assailant, raped repeatedly, starved, basically 5 months of the worst situation you can think of, then murdered and dismembered by the kidnapper, you would not support a capital conviction, and go watch him die?
I'm pretty anti death penalty but in that scenario I would probably take some satisfaction in watching that sick prick sizzle in the chair.
California does lethal injection though, so no sizzle.
