I saw it when he toured with it and did the Q&A sessions afterwards, and I really enjoyed it and thought John Goodman and Michael Parks had excellent performances. You gotta keep in mind he was trying something entirely different in this film and had no studio backing and a small budget with no advertising. He took it on the road to small theaters where he did the Q&A sessions afterwards, and after that it was straight to DVD and Netflix.
I believe after his hockey movie and maybe one more he is done for good directing movies, and is just going to concentrate on his Smodcast network, some TV content, and live touring...
