Two back to back world wars resulting in the deaths of 10's of millions succeeded in turning most of Europe's survivors into dyed in the wool pacifists.
Especially in the West.
But upon being
clearly faced with extinction, I rather expect that today's Europeans will quickly revert back to the same exact form that history best remembers their ancestors.
They won't go down without a fight... even one with with potential apocalyptic consequences.
