Here's what I like about shooting in New Zealand. You can find tons of amazing locations in some of the world's most beautiful scenery and there's not a sole around. We took a 30 minute hike to get to this spot and didn't see a single other person all day. The whole country has less than 4 million people and apparently it's just too far away for the hoards of tourists to go there. After having done the typical tourist destinations in Europe and drowning in seas of people all herded around like animals in a pen it sure is refreshing to get away from the madness and see a more beautiful and pristine land. This is really one of the world's best kept secrets and one of the last unspoiled places on earth.
