Yes, and I think this will prevail. All Obama needs to do is ask which Mitt Romney is the real Romney, and educate people that we don't know what his real views are. People will not put a guy in power they don't trust. He came out of that debate with more trust, but it's all perception.
I think this thing will be close, I also think Romney might be riding his last surge. Maybe he can capture the momentum, I think what the #s are coming out of debate season will be the best bet. What has happened in the past, is, challenger comes out, does well, incumbent replies, things go back to where they were, before debate season. Doesn't mean Obama can't fuck it up bw now and then though.
