I did not know who Oat Willie was until I googled him a minute ago. But I saw the "Onward, through the fog" there.
I go that from a label on a power hitter back in like 1976. The label had a pic of Mr Natural in the trucking stance and above it it said "Onward, Through the fog".
It has been my slogan since.
Looking at the illustration on Old Willie I would guess that the saying actually came from R Crumb or oone of those guys. Not sure if he did Mr. Natural but it the same style. Like Furry Freak Brothers and such
