ESPECIALLY finished video. Video postproduction needs expensive gear ($2000 in hardware, another $1000 + in software plus assotred video stuff).
Hotel rooms cost money. Presumably I drove wherever, that costs money too. This is business. Why should I make less than the girl? Now, the question is how much content you get for your $1000 . Well, for a magazine layout I deliver 5 rolls of 36 exposure film (mind you that's processed, mounted, and sleeved in slideholder pages) and I get $1000 from which I pay all my non-talent expenses .
I notice that the standards of quality for web content are considerably lower than magazine work. IOW, lots of folks deliver cheap content of garbage quality. Well, you get what you pay for.

Yea, you should definately make much more than the girl getting a cock stuffed in her asshole for a few bucks so she can buy the drugs she takes before she would even consider whoring herself out.
