As others suggest take them to Disney. I used to live on Daytona Beach and it's far past it's days in the sun.
After the 3 hurricanes went through there I think it was 2004 the place went extremely downhill. Granted it was already headed in that direction, but the hurricanes came in and destroyed loads of the old hotels & condos but the city condemned most of them and wouldn't let them rebuild.
The idea was to force the spring break "party" crowd away in exchange for retired, family crowed. The problem was the economy hit the shit right at the same time and you ended up with no one buying any of the new condos and tons of half torn down , abandon or vacant buildings all over the place.
The place was a major shit hole when I moved out of there. It's been a few years but with the current economy I can't imagine it's changed much.
