There is NO way that with a $50,000.00-$97,000.00 cost of an electric car that fuel costs would EVER justify the purchase price, especially with only SIX charging stations in the USA.
Just for grins, I called my bank to find out if it would finance a Tesla.
Nope.
Not on a bet.
If the car was repossessed in my area, who would buy it with only SIX charging stations in the whole fucking country, NONE of which are in the area?
Smoke and mirrors.

You are missing the point. You can still charge your car at home. Superchargers just do it alot faster than home connections.
There is also a great business model here. Highway gas stations can add super chargers to their stations for only a few thousand dollars. No underground gas tank needed. Chargers will need distributors, technicians, etc.
There are already 2 super charging stations in Montreal that I have seen, with over 100 coming to Montreal soon. And I've seen 4 Chevy Volt's and 3 Tesla's on the road here.
Electric cars are coming. They're fast, sleek and cool as fucking hell (except for the god-awful Nissan Leaf). Tesla, Chevy, BMW, and now Ford (Ford Focus Electric). Even the Quebec Government (idiots, usually) give you $7000+ to buy an electric car.
I'm getting a boner.
