Anything anti-any-government should give you a chubby. They've outworn their welcome. They abuse their authority. From top to bottom they are corrupt. Every government. Everywhere.

No-one becomes a politician to serve. People become politicians for the perqs and the pension. That is all. Maybe when they're young they have vague dream. That dream dies really, really fast once reality hits them.

I'm not paranoid - its the truth. Public service is a joke. It does not exist outside of a few charitable organizations. Personal service is the reality. And I don't even care.

In Canada we have low-level, unelected bureaucrats with better pay, better pensions, better benefits, and more authority than most judges. Judges in Canada do not have the authority to overturn ANY decision made by ANY level of government above municipal.
