The real reasons porn is not working for many people are:
a) they are stupid and lazy and think doing splogs and banners should be enough to make sales.
b) the public don't trust 'us' because we've done really well teaching them not to trust us, viz: diallers, circle jerks, hidden prechecked cross sales, spamming, card banging, shit content, shit sites, download limiters, content rotation etc etc etc
c) the entire world is in the middle of an economic crisis |
Not complete crap if you then agree that c) the crisis is to blame.
Porn is not free it is being used to sell other things, gambling, dating, pills
Most porn being of such low cost is easy to give away to make better sales elsewhere.
Traffic is expensive and hard to get so difficult to make a profit producing expensive quality product.
