Do you think someone who is a shock jock is honestly telling you what he believes in because it's what he believes in, or because it's his job to entertain you? How do you know he's not picking sides because it will help his ratings? I'm not a fan of Howard Stern, although I have bought and read a few of his books, but I would never believe in anything he said just because he is a shock jock.
Me personally? I don't base my opinion or my vote on what someone else's opinion of the candidates are. If it is his true opinion or not I don't really care. I agree with what he said so I guess I was entertained... wrong word...interested is a better descriptor. So, my thoughts on him speaking out the way he did remains the same. His stated opinion is just as relevant as any other citizen who has the right to vote. Just as your opinion that he should never be taken seriously is relevant to this conversation.

Look, I have strong beliefs and I don't think that someone like Howard Stern is going to sway them much or even at all but I was pointing out that as a citizen of this country his views on the public sector are just as valid as anyone else s. To question if he actually means what he says is pure speculation. I take Rush, Bill O, Keith O, Glenn and yeah even Howard Stern at their word... if they say that _____ is something they believe in or voice their opinion on something, no matter how twisted, wrong, demented or correct I think it is I tend to believe that they believe it. I know the workings of their mind by the products of their mouths.
