However, you ignored the example I gave you which is just one of the many reasons why these laws hurt our democracy. Yes my son has a photo ID but when it comes to casting his vote it is meaningless since he cannot make the 6 hour round trip to cast his vote and in one of these voter suppression states his photo id from a state run college is equally worthless. I am not so quick to pass judgement on other people having absolutely no insight into their personal reasons for them not having a state issued photo id that I would immediately jump to "don't fucking vote"
