For a large part I agree, but I also agree that porn survived a lot longer, imo the recession has been going on a lot longer than 3 years, a lot longer. But it did catch up with us 18 months ago when we started seeing a decline, now we get dozens of 'i'll join when i can afford it' emails to our models every week.
People are prepared to pay for the porn they want and the quality they want, but for now, a large majority will 'make do' with tubes until they are a bit more affluent again, so yes tubes are hurting, but I never believed they were the cause of collapse, they are more an enabler.
