Well, if you and your members are happy with what an inexpensive tube script can do for your members areas, no problem, keep going with it.
What we have learned from talking to our existing and prospecting clients is that (especially nowadays when there is so much free porn and similar looking tube sites all over the internet) if you want to get and *retain* a member you have to offer him much more than just a load of videos wrapped up in standard templates.
The members got picky and to make them use their credit cards you have to show them something exquisite.
Unique and quality content is what matters most, no doubt. But content itself is not enough. Unique design and layout, transparent tours, lots of preview images and teaser videos, more text (as keywords and detailed scene descriptions), quick & intuitive search links plus advanced search options for the more demanding ones, cross-linking between videos, video-still galleries, HQ photo galleries, DVD scenes and models; user-ratings, comments, favorites, special events -- these are all things that do make a difference.
And for these features you need a CMS that has been built for that and perfected over many years in production, with functions developed and improved based on real customers needs. There not many CMS'es out there that will let you implement your unique ideas and site designs with minimal programming/coding skills.
