I finally traded off the E55 AMG and I am surprised at how fast the S-class is. It's got 429hp compared to the E's 470hp. BUt the 7sp trans in the S works good in sport mode. The E55 is faster, but not by a lot. The S has 70 miles on it and it's raining so I didn't really give it the beans yet. Probably tomorrow
