Between the bid, ask and commission, if you drop a 300k order (500k shares) on a stock with an average daily volume of 115k you will not be able to get the .55, and you'll be paying .90 average before the trade settles. Then after your trade settles at .90 and everyone realizes you have no information and are just buying in to try and flip, the sales orders will turn on and try to get out, sending it back to .60 with you holding 500k shares you got at .90
