walk on it - no - it doesn't have a surface you can walk on, the matter at the surface is a kind of gravitationally compressed plasma, more like a liquid than a solid.

there might be solid layers deep inside.

people have speculated about technology that would let a ship go down into it, using lasers to pump heat away from a protected vessel.

the human body would have to re rebuilt to withstand the Gs. or more likely uploaded into a kind of computer.

in theory tho, once you have that capacity, you can just upload a person into a kind of protective shell and drop them in.

robots would make more sense.

but, chances are not great that we will reach that technological level. and there's no really good reason to do it.

if we ever did reach that level people might do it for fun. arguably tho we would be humans then, we would then look back on this time the way we now look back on olduvai homonids.
