Play bass - Did a couple of tracks with Hawkwind before Harvey banebridge came along.
Also did some work with Neal Ward Renolds (Wishbone Ash and Niven McKeller (several u/g bands - Little women and pink elephant etc) We did an album called threadbare)
Did the Reading (as stand in) with a group called AFT - They were brilliant - But got nowhere. Taught a fantastic drummer to play bass - Who turned out to be an even better bassist (This was years ago and his name has left me - Turner?) Anyhow - He went on to work for Elkie Brookes.
Stood in for many reasonable and second rate acts - Now - Do not even own a guitar!
My best guitar of all time was an echo 12 string - Russ, a mate of mine gave it to me and the sound was incredible - After he got killed - I didn't have the heart to pick it up again -
