As someone who is fluent in Russian and who spent a significant portion of my life there, [labret] is absolutely right about most Russiams thinking that America is hte cause of all things bad in Russia. Russians have a very intense obsession with America and a very bipolar love/hate relationship with the US. It's crazy to live in another country and then see that almost 1/2 their news is about your own and never in a good way.
