The motherboard can hold 128 gigs. With 8 slots available that means you need 8 x 16 gigs to fill that up. Does 16 gigs even exist? (not that i'm gonna do that ofcourse)

That motherboard you listed has 4 dimm slots (up to 64GB)

You can get 8GB (single sticks) but I haven't seen 16GB sticks (never really looked though). 16GB or 32GB is still going to be awesome, and do anything you want. Your better off getting 4X4GB sticks (Quad Channel) if possible. They'll run better then two 8GB sticks.
