Most of those people were reps. It's not a good idea to burn bridges when you are a rep. Especially not with the biggest company in the industry. When your employer goes bust or fires you it's best if you are well liked at other companies so you can get a job easier. So they tend to kiss ass. Can't blame them for wanting to keep their families fed really. There's lots of others who are looking for cross promotional deals and the like too. For actual old guard affiliates most of them know what's going on here with few exceptions.
