I have a few big-ticket items listed on eBay that I distribute for the manufacturer. Cheapest one is BIN $3600.

I get a call yesterday from a distressed woman. She is on eBay trying to place a bid for one of my products but keeps getting denied. I already know that she is below my bid limit, so I ask how much she is trying to bid.

$150

It's auction, I don't mind the bidding system or low bids. But $150? LOL, that's roughly 4% of the asking price. How can you possibly expect to get a product for 4% of the asking price?

I have stories like this all day. Love eBay!
