If you happen to have a bunch of Thumblogger blogs, the shared box, especially with some custom js for niche variations, can be a very helpful tool for a massive amount of quality backlinks that takes a second to change instead of hours like normal..
Same thing with header.php or footer.php for wpmu setups.
