Having a conversation with a couple other adult writers and bloggers, and thought I'd see what the folks-in-the-know at GFY would think.

Is it worth trademarking (or copyrighting) a pen name? While the majority of my work is for a 3rd party and I hold no claim to it after it's left my hands, I do have a few companies using my pen name when they publish my writing. I've also got ebooks under my pen name.

Is the fact that I've got a 'history' behind this name enough to protect it, or am I being naive by not going through official channels to get it sorted out?
