True Jason, but the formula I've used with great success is:
Max = Weight + (Weight * Reps * .03)
It's a bell curve, with 80% of the population falling within the parameters of that formula, give or take 1-2%. Now there may be some that fall drastically short, or go significantly above what that formula dictates, but only by 5-7% MAX.
Try it - it's pretty damn accurate..
