OMG... 10 points for not learning to read or having a clue.

It's OBVIOUSLY a cardboard box camera with a pinhole in the side with a 1 minute exposure. A car drove by and illuminated the models and stopped the waves like Gandhi and kind of like Moses too...

But on a serious note... he already said that it wasn't about a fancy camera - it was all about the lighting. And in this case everything was on manual after he took a light reading TTL (Through the Lens) or with a meter sans models and kept it on those settings on Manual and added light with a flash or multiple flashes. The problem with that is that in order to get an F-stop worth a shit (like 8 and above) your flashes or strobes work overtime and drain the batteries very quickly. You can remedy this by changing them out every 50 pictures or wearing a heavy battery pack around your waist or in this case - have some assistants holding them and the strobes running up and down the beach with you. You can also use SB 800's and sinc them all together and put multiple flashes on your camera on a rack which makes it heavy as fuck and awkward to boot. Oh, and BTW - with the settings on manual you need to change the settings every time there is a slight alteration in the light or move the lights backwards or forwards to make up for it. Photography is easy - just point and shoot.
