From an evolutionary prospective this may be correct. Males in the animal kingdom must woo the female through physical traits or fighting other males before the female allows him to mount her.
For a male to skip the wooing process and just rape the female, that has serious evolutionary implications if these males are genetically unfit to reproduce. So perhaps the female's body reacts a certain way to this unwanted sperm.
