Google already knows everything about me - whether I use their tools or not. Whether their webmasters tools are useful or not (for me? Not so useful anymore), building a relationship with Google support through your webmaster account might be helpful in the long run.

I have one site that is number 1 on yahoo and nowhere on google. Posted a thread about the situation:
