My GF lived in Gettysburg when they made the Tuner movie. At the restaurant she worked at, she waited several times on Sam Elliot and saw most of the major cast there. A friend of hers painted portraits of Martin Sheen, Sam Elliot and others. GF got a copy of them.
GF also dated KC Rock concert promoter and founder of the National Lacrosse League. Said one date with him was one too many.
I've twice met Harry Truman at his library.
Crazy Guggenheim (old '60s Jackie Gleason Show) autographed his record for me.
Saw Candye Kane twice in concert at local bars. First time her harmonica player/girlfriend danced with me a couple of songs. The second time, after the concert we sat on the edge of the stage and talked for about 10 minutes, while she signed a couple of her CDs I bought.
Sat at a table, in a Japanese with KC Royals, Willie Wilson and Amos Otis not long after their coke bust.
