But for the rest of us who just want to fire up the laptop in the morning and work without issues, Mac is great.

It's funny, as people are talking about viruses, I have a Macbook (used Mac since 1995) my partner has an HP PC. Both purchased at the same time. His has already been back once for repair, and right now is being restored for having a virus. Mine has never had an issue. He heckles me all the time "ooh.. I guess the mighty Mac doesn't have that problem" I just smile and say "guess not" I also have a 10 yr old Emac at home that has never once had a problem other than having to upgrade RAM.
I must be special I have never gotten a virus on a windows box. The reason macs dont get viruses is not because they are special its because there arent enough of them if your goal is to spread something. But their numbers keep climbing you will see more and more.
