Quality Content vs Outsourced Content

I was involved in the onedollararticle thread and needed to separate my thoughts into a different post. Lots of outsourced material is on the web, including mainstream and adult. It is from India, PI, and other places where groups are producing 50+ articles daily for a small $ and give poor quality generally. I met with a group recently who admitted they bought poor quality and that they were looking for quality vs quantity.

With the Google panda and penguin updates, sites are dependent on getting quality content for traffic and SEO than ever before. Using copied or poor quality content doesn't help your site and drives SEO down. It used to be keywords and meta data, now its content. What separates your site from the rest.

I say all this as someone who writers high quality content and price myself at .02/.03 word which is higher than Indian/Pi/writers. I get criticism for this at times, but look at the highest quality and visited sites, and they all handwrite their content.

In adult especially, gallery descriptions and FHG descriptions that are unique definitely separates your site from others. The same data is shot to a ton of affiliates but getting it rewritten for your site makes it stand out. Same goes for reviews, blog posts, etc...

I'm not saying for $1 you can't get a good article, but its awfully tough and I'm sure those who have bought cheap articles have had to make corrections and all to them.

Just my two cents on the topic. Didn't want to hijack the other thread but at the same time share my thoughts on the content argument.
