I rather liked Paul's more recent thread where he was posting and reflecting on his life, work and what's important. I don't know him very well, we have not done business and yes of course I think he has had lots of crazy posts on GFY in the past. With that said, I still respect his experience and it seems often from his posts that he is passionate about things such as Eva, copyrights and his life of work. Can't hate someone for those things and I think it would also be difficult to disrespect any of those that I mentioned.
None of us has to be a millionaire to be worthy or of value. One also doesn't have to be right all of the time. I'm kind of hoping to see Paul at the Summit in Prague and have a friendly chat over a drink. The last time I met him was many years ago in Prague at a conference. I was a lot younger then and I suppose at that time we both wrote each other off.
I don't spend too much time judging people on GFY. In my 13 years in the business I have likely met more than 5000 people. I rather have conversations in person or on the phone. The abundance of keyboard warrioring and online conversation make it very hard sometimes to reconcile people, especially when the interaction was of substance in person.
