No kidding? At one mass shooting per month I think you're right. What you have is a lot of fucked up individuals (much more than normal I would say) with quick and easy access to automatic weapons and ammo. Enjoy your freedom.
Btw the constitution was created to be amended. It should adapt to the problems of today.
