That seems to be the argument of everyone who defends the right to carry arms. But the truth is it's much easier to aim and squeeze a trigger (especially when you can buy them over the counter), then it would be to install an explosive device or go on a stabbing spree.
I know someone will come here to say we should outlaw cars, because they can be used to run people over, kitchen utensils because they can be used as fatal weapons, so on and so forth. It's really lame.
Gun laws have succeeded in every country where they have been tried. The stats don't lie.
