I'm not chearleading for quantum. I was giving my experience with authorize... they are a scammy operation on the signup part. I would say likely 40% if not more of their money comes from unsuspecting applicants who thought they were just applying for a merchant account. I have to dig through my emails, which I don't want to do right now, but they are hand in hand with the bank. They merged not too long ago with the bank. So you apply for a merchant account (thinking you are applying) and they are banging your account for a setup fee and monthly fees and likely conjured up some other fees to bang unsuspecting applicants (as the gateway software who is the middle man to the bank... who they are now a part of).
It's totally a scam. I know authorize does provide gateway services and people use them, and are ok with it. I'm talking about their thievery to those that are *applying* and just testing to see what is out there and who will approve them.
Quantum... is directly associated with CDG. Honestly, some programming is buggy and I have had problems in the past. You need to either know how to program or have a programmer set it up. Do not ever *test* the transactions via sending xml queries as that seems to fuck everything up. I.e... programmer did some test and turned all recurring options into single transactions. I then manually set all members back to recurring and all members started getting double billed ***nightmare

I just take it as it is... it is free and it works. Just don't try and do anything out of the box and make sure a competent programmer sets up your billing.
