Coup...I don't think you realize I am in total agreement with you.
But I still say that the guy who owns Chik-Fil-A didn't say anything different than is being said in stupid churches across the country every day. He actually believes in that superstitious and hateful bullshit.
My opinion on this is that the most extreme elements of both "sides" are using this as an excuse to publicize themselves.
I'm 100% for gay marriage.
I don't know how either of us is fighting for freedom by having a discussion on a message board.
But if a vote is ever given in my state to make it legal I will vote FOR it.
I still don't think it's fighting for "freedom" to try and silence the guy from Chik-Fil-A
He has every right to think stupid thoughts and do and say stupid things.
