America is an armed nation by design. This is who we are. We are fat, ignorant, and well armed. Because of this we invented the muscle car, the double double and the Colt 1911. While you can argue that this is an antiquated notion, Britain still has a queen, Spain has a king, Canada has mounties and Tibet has a Dali Lama so suck it.

It's not an out dated ideal. It's a stupid one. Because the people with the uncontrolled guns are the scariest.
Its' not the Elite or Government that scares people with a logical brain. It's guys like this crazy or all the other crazies they should be scared of. The Elite you're supposed to be scared of have owned your ass for at least the last 40 years. You've been in a race to acquire as much debt as you can to acquire the illusion of wealth.
In truth today the Elite own your asses far more than the British did in the 18th Century. You work non stop to acquire goods they sell to you. You obey their laws, fight their wars and do as you're told.
No one is saying eliminate arms. Millions of Americans have them and as you say do fuck all with them. They are nice loyal sheople sucking up what ever the Government dishes out to them. If you think the spirit of 1775 is still alive you're so out of touch it's sad.
People are saying don't let crazy fucks like this have one. Don't let people with a tendency to shoot someone walking on his front path have one. Roopp will now spend the rest of his life in prison, unless he gets a jury crazy as he is to swallow the defence's argument that he was in fear of his life. He's as much a victim as the rest involved.
America has had this crazy culture for a long time. With home grown terrorist and these type of shooting where people for some crazy reason think a gun will cure the problem or win a point. When the real spirit required is that of the 50s and 60s. Embodied by men like Martin Luther King and the Anti Vietnam War Movement.
Then the people took on the Government and Elite and changed the course of America for the better. Pity it's all gone now. Occupy Wall Street is the best you can must in the 21st Century and that speaks for itself. All without the need for a single gun.
