Good one. The Olympics is about drugs, cheats and corporate control. I didn't see this but I might check it out, it's probably the only thing in the whole shitfest that will have any soul.

I didn't see the Chinese one either, except their fake fireworks and fake kiddie singer, but I'm sure the Nazi opening ceremony was also considered The Shit in its time. It's not just murdering and suppressing their own people that totalitarian regimes do well, they can always be counted on to put on a big, extravagant propaganda showpieces.

Apparently the Chinese had 56 ethnic groups depicted, via children in costume, but it turned out most of the kids were Han Chinese. Probably because most other ethnic groups in China have been 'cleansed' out of existence.

If there's one thing for Brits to be proud of already it's their zero tolerance approach to drug cheats. The British Olympic Association banned two British drug cheats for life, but were disgracefully overruled by the so-called World "Anti-Doping"[sic] Agency, which in this case was pro-doping, and forced the Brits to back down on their ban. As such these cheats are in the British Olympic team, against the wishes of the British Olympic Association. Other countries don't even have the decency to try and lifetime ban their cheats.

Says it all about the corruption and attitude towards cheating in athletics, sport and the Olympics.
