I thought it was pretty good. Sure, it didn't match the spectacle of the games in China. but the idea is to be different and they were celebrating the culture and history of the country.
At the very least you can applaud them for letting the real musicians sing their songs instead of having a better looking person lip sync it.
The people who need to be upset are we Americans. The uniforms our people were wearing looked terrible. That freaking beret and the jacket made our athletes look like they worked in the Harvard coffee shop. And then to announce that the designer then had them made in China. We can't find someone to make 500 uniforms in the US? Pretty pathetic.
